Oiler for VLGC Vessel

Job Description

An international crewing company is recruiting 3 experienced Oilers (OLR) for VLGC vessels.

The Oiler will support the Engineering Department with engine-room operations, machinery maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and general engineering duties onboard the gas carrier.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist Engineers with routine engine-room operations.
• Carry out cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of machinery.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor machinery spaces and report abnormalities.
• Follow vessel safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant sea-service experience as Oiler.
• Previous gas carrier / VLGC experience preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer documentation.
