Job Description

PT. Amancare Group is recruiting an experienced Oiler for a bulk carrier operating in Indonesian waters. The successful candidate will assist the engineering department with machinery monitoring, engine-room maintenance, and daily technical operations. Applicants must have relevant experience in the same rank and vessel type.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Monitor engine-room machinery and equipment during assigned duties.
• Assist engineering officers with routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Check machinery conditions and report defects or abnormalities.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and follow safe working practices.
• Support the safe and efficient operation of the vessel’s engineering systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Oiler on the same type of vessel.
• Maximum age: 55 years.
• All required certificates and documents must be valid for at least 1 year.
• Good technical knowledge and a positive working attitude.
• Valid seafarer documentation and applicable STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate, as applicable.
• Previous bulk carrier experience.
