Job Description:
KJCM Maritime Corporation is urgently recruiting an experienced Oiler to join a Capesize Bulk Carrier on an ASAP basis. The successful candidate will assist the engine department with machinery operation, routine maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and general engine-room duties while maintaining high safety and operational standards onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist engineers with the operation and monitoring of main and auxiliary machinery.
Perform routine lubrication, cleaning, and maintenance of engine-room equipment.
Assist with planned maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs.
Monitor machinery condition and promptly report defects or abnormalities.
Maintain good housekeeping and comply with all engine-room safety procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Oiler
Previous Bulk Carrier / Capesize experience preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Oiler certification/COP
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
Availability to join ASAP
