Master for Oil Tanker Vessel (UAE)

Job Description

WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is urgently recruiting an experienced Master to join an Oil Tanker in the UAE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall command of the vessel, including safe navigation, cargo operations, crew management, and compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations. Candidates holding a valid VOA (Visa on Arrival) for the UAE are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain overall command and ensure safe vessel operations.
• Supervise navigation, passage planning, and bridge operations.
• Oversee safe oil cargo operations.
• Manage the vessel's crew and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain high standards of safety, security, and environmental protection.

Requirements

• Valid Master Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Relevant oil tanker experience preferred
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to rank
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid passport and seafarer's documentation
• UAE VOA preferred
