APREMAR is currently recruiting a full crew of qualified and experienced seafarers to join an LPG Tanker operating in the coastal waters of Libya.
The company is seeking experienced deck officers, engineering officers, electrical personnel, deck and engine ratings, cargo specialists, welders, catering crew, and cadets.
Successful candidates will be responsible for safe navigation, LPG cargo operations, vessel maintenance, engineering operations, deck activities, and onboard catering while maintaining compliance with international maritime regulations, tanker safety standards, and company procedures.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Perform duties according to the assigned rank and company procedures
• Support safe navigation, bridge watchkeeping, and vessel operations
• Assist with LPG cargo loading, discharge, tank operations, and cargo monitoring as applicable
• Maintain cargo handling systems, pumps, valves, pipelines, and related equipment
• Operate and maintain propulsion, auxiliary, electrical, and technical systems
• Carry out planned maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting
• Perform deck maintenance, mooring, anchoring, and cargo-support operations
• Ensure strict compliance with LPG tanker safety and emergency procedures
• Participate in emergency drills, toolbox talks, and onboard safety meetings
• Maintain operational readiness and accurate technical and statutory documentation
• Support galley, accommodation, housekeeping, and crew welfare operations where applicable
• Previous experience in the same rank is required
• Previous LPG Tanker experience strongly preferred, particularly for officers, engineers, pumpmen, and cargo-related positions
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) / Certificate of Proficiency (COP) for applicable positions
• Valid LPG / Liquefied Gas Tanker training certificates as required for the position
• Valid Passport, Seaman’s Book, and Medical Certificate
• Relevant professional qualifications and licenses for the applied position
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a multinational crew environment
• All certificates and documents must be valid and up to date
• Physically and medically fit for sea service

• Valid Deck Officer CoC appropriate to rank
• Previous LPG Tanker experience
• Valid Gas Tanker training/certification as applicable
• Strong navigation, cargo, and tanker safety experience
Chief Engineer / 2nd Engineer / 3rd Engineer / 4th Engineer
• Valid Engineering CoC appropriate to rank
• Previous LPG / gas tanker engineering experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of propulsion, auxiliary, and cargo-related machinery
ETO / Electrician
• Valid ETO / electrical qualification
• Previous marine electrical and automation experience
• LPG tanker experience preferred
Pumpman
• Previous LPG / tanker cargo experience
• Strong knowledge of cargo pumps, valves, pipelines, and cargo systems
• Relevant gas tanker training preferred
Bosun / AB / OS
• Valid deck rating certification where applicable
• Previous tanker experience preferred
• Knowledge of mooring, deck maintenance, and cargo support operations
Oiler / Fitter / Motorman / Wiper
• Relevant engine-room or mechanical experience
• Appropriate STCW and technical certification
• Previous tanker experience preferred
Welder
• Relevant welding qualification/certification
• Experience with marine or tanker maintenance and fabrication preferred
Messman / Chief Cook / Cook / Assistant Cook / Steward
• Previous vessel catering/hospitality experience preferred
• Relevant food hygiene and catering certificates where applicable
• Ability to work with multinational crews
Deck Cadet / Engine Cadet
• Valid cadet documentation and applicable STCW training
• Valid medical certificate
• Relevant maritime education/training
• Previous sea service preferred
