Job Description

Jebsen PTC is inviting qualified and experienced seafarers to apply for available positions aboard container vessels. Applicants must have international container vessel experience. Candidates holding valid US or Schengen visas are preferred.

Available Positions

Deck Department

• 2 × 2nd Officers
• 2 × 3rd Officers
• 4 × AB
• 10 × OS

Engine Department

• 3rd Engineer
• 2 × 4th Engineers
• 2 × Electro-Technical Ratings 
• 3 × Fitters
• Oiler
• 3 × Wipers

Catering Department

•  Chief Cook — experience with both European and Indian cuisine required

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Performing assigned duties in accordance with vessel procedures and company policies.
• Supporting safe navigation, deck operations, and cargo operations, as applicable to the position.
• Maintaining and operating engine-room equipment and electrical systems, as applicable to the role.
• Carrying out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Complying with international maritime regulations, onboard safety procedures, and pollution-prevention requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant maritime qualifications and experience for the position applied for.
• Valid STCW certificates and endorsements appropriate to the rank.
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC), where applicable.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Mandatory: International container vessel experience.
• Preferred: Valid US visa and/or Schengen visa.
• Chief Cook: Proven experience preparing both European and Indian cuisine.
• Good English communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of an international crew.
