Job Description:
Michaelmar Phils., Inc. is urgently hiring an experienced Electrician to join an LPG Tanker Vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of the vessel's electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out maintenance and repairs of electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform corrective maintenance.
Maintain generators, switchboards, motors, lighting, and electrical control systems.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
Ensure all electrical work complies with onboard safety procedures and company standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Electrician onboard vessels
LPG Tanker experience preferred/required
Valid electrical certification and relevant CoC/COP
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
Availability for urgent deployment
