Job Description

WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is urgently recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer to join an Oil Tanker in the UAE.

The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting the vessel’s electrical and associated control systems, ensuring reliable operation of electrical equipment throughout the vessel.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and inspect vessel electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and control-system faults.
• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Support safe and reliable operation of vessel systems.
• Maintain electrical maintenance records and follow company procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant Electrical Engineer / ETO certification
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Relevant marine electrical experience
• Oil tanker experience preferred
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid UAE VOA preferred
