Job Description

PT. Amancare Group is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join a bulk carrier operating exclusively within the Indonesian local trading area. The successful candidate should demonstrate sound professional knowledge, a responsible attitude, and relevant experience in the same rank and vessel type.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Master in managing the vessel’s daily operations.
• Supervise deck crew and coordinate deck maintenance activities.
• Oversee cargo loading, unloading, stowage, and cargo safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with onboard safety procedures and maritime regulations.
• Maintain deck-related records and support safe navigation and vessel operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Chief Officer on the same type of vessel.
• Maximum age: 55 years.
• All required certificates and seafarer documents must be valid for at least 1 year.
• Good professional knowledge and a positive working attitude.
• Valid Certificate of Competency and applicable endorsements.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, as applicable.
• Experience in bulk carrier operations.
