Job Description
Bluejacketship Management Pvt. Ltd. is urgently seeking an experienced Chief Engineer for a VLCC tanker takeover.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Manage all engine-room operations and machinery maintenance.
- Ensure reliable operation of propulsion systems, generators, and auxiliary machinery.
- Plan preventive maintenance and coordinate technical repairs.
- Supervise engine-room personnel and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain technical records and ensure environmental compliance.
Requirements
- Valid Chief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (CoC) – Panama.
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
- Proven experience on large-GRT tankers.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Complete and valid seafarer’s documents.
Employment Details
- Salary: USD 11,500–12,500 per month
- Joining: 2 November 2026
- Location: Singapore
