Job Description
A leading maritime company is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Able Seaman (AB) to join an LNG vessel operating in the Netherlands under the Belgian flag.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting deck operations, navigational watchkeeping, mooring activities, maintenance duties, safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with international maritime and LNG vessel operational standards.
This opportunity is ideal for ratings with previous LNG, gas carrier, tanker, offshore, or merchant vessel experience who are seeking long-term employment with competitive European employment conditions.

Deck Department
- Able Seaman (AB) — EUR 3,210/month
Job Responsibilities
- Perform navigational watchkeeping duties as assigned
- Participate in mooring, anchoring, and cargo-related operations
- Carry out deck maintenance, painting, and preservation work
- Maintain deck equipment and operational readiness
- Assist with safety drills and emergency response procedures
- Support LNG operations in accordance with company procedures
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety and environmental regulations
- Work effectively within a multinational crew environment
Requirements
General Requirements
- Valid STCW 2010 certification package
- Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
- Physically and medically fit for sea service
Professional Requirements
- Valid Able Seaman certification
- Previous experience as Able Seaman preferred
- LNG, gas carrier, tanker, offshore, or merchant vessel experience is an advantage
- Familiarity with international maritime safety procedures and deck operations
