Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is seeking a qualified Third Officer to assist with navigation, safety equipment, and bridge watchkeeping aboard an oil/chemical tanker.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform navigational watchkeeping duties as assigned.
  • Assist with the inspection and maintenance of lifesaving and firefighting equipment.
  • Participate in drills and emergency-response exercises.
  • Maintain bridge and safety records.
  • Follow onboard safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

  • Relevant Third Officer’s Certificate of Competency.
  • Seagoing experience; tanker experience as required by the employer.
  • Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents.
  • Valid medical fitness certificate.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
