Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is recruiting a Third Engineer to assist with engine-room operations, machinery maintenance, and the safe operation of technical systems aboard an oil/chemical tanker.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform assigned engine-room watchkeeping duties.
  • Maintain and inspect machinery and auxiliary equipment.
  • Assist with planned maintenance and repair work.
  • Follow engine-room safety and pollution-prevention procedures.
  • Keep maintenance records and report equipment defects.

Requirements

  • Relevant Third Engineer’s Certificate of Competency.
  • Seagoing experience; tanker experience as required by the employer.
  • Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents.
  • Valid medical fitness certificate.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
