Job Description

Minerva Marine Agency, Inc. is hiring qualified Second Officers for tanker, bulk, and container vessels.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform navigational watchkeeping duties and assist with safe vessel navigation.
• Maintain passage plans, charts, publications, and navigational records.
• Inspect and maintain navigational equipment as required.
• Assist with safety drills and emergency preparedness.
• Carry out duties assigned by the Master and Chief Officer.

Requirements

• Valid Officer of the Watch Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant seagoing experience on the applicable vessel type.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Complete and valid seafarer’s documents and certificates.
