2nd Engineer for Oil Tanker Vessel ( UAE)

Job Description

WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is urgently recruiting an experienced 2nd Engineer to join an Oil Tanker in the UAE.

The successful candidate will support the Chief Engineer in maintaining the vessel’s main and auxiliary machinery, engine-room systems, and associated equipment. Candidates with relevant tanker experience are preferred. A valid UAE Visa on Arrival (VOA) is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervise and carry out maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery.
• Monitor engine-room operations and machinery performance.
• Coordinate planned and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure safe operation of engine-room equipment and systems.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures, STCW requirements, and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Valid 2nd Engineer Certificate of Competency
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to rank
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Relevant marine engineering experience
• Oil tanker experience preferred
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid UAE VOA preferred
