Job Description
WTS Energy is seeking a skilled Welder to carry out welding, fabrication, and repair work on offshore platforms and barges.
The successful candidate will support maintenance activities and complete welding tasks in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication work according to job specifications.
- Prepare metal surfaces and components for welding.
- Carry out repairs to metal structures, fittings, and equipment.
- Inspect completed work and report defects.
- Maintain welding tools and equipment in safe working condition.
- Follow hot-work permit requirements and HSE procedures.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment and maintain a safe working area.
Requirements
- Proven welding experience in an industrial, marine, or offshore environment.
- Relevant welding qualifications and certificates appropriate to the assignment.
- Mexican or foreign Seaman's Book.
- Valid passport.
- Valid OGUK medical certificate.
- Valid TBOSIET certificate.
- Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
- Conversational English.
- Knowledge of welding safety, fabrication, and hot-work procedures.
- Previous offshore experience preferred.
