Job Description

WTS Energy is recruiting an Assistant Crane Operator to support offshore lifting operations during night shifts.

The successful candidate will assist with crane preparation, pre-use checks, lifting equipment handling, and coordination with crane operators and rigging personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with crane preparation and equipment checks.
• Support lifting operations in accordance with approved lifting plans.
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and deck personnel.
• Help prepare and maintain lifting accessories and equipment.
• Report damaged equipment and unsafe conditions.
• Follow lifting procedures, toolbox talks, and offshore HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant experience supporting crane or offshore lifting operations.
• Previous offshore platform or barge experience preferred.
• Mexican or foreign Seaman's Book.
• Valid passport.
• Valid OGUK medical certificate.
• Valid TBOSIET certificate.
• Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
• Conversational English.
• Relevant crane-support, lifting, or rigging training as required for the assignment.
• Availability for night-shift work.
