Job Description
TOS People is seeking a Third Officer with radio operator duties to support navigational watchkeeping, onboard communications, and safe vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Maintain navigational watches as assigned.
- Assist with navigation planning and recordkeeping.
- Operate communication equipment within the scope of certification.
- Participate in safety drills and emergency preparedness activities.
- Follow company procedures and applicable maritime regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same rank and on the same or similar vessel type: FSO, FPSO, large offshore vessel, or tanker.
- Good English communication skills.
- Valid BOSIET, FOET, and AOT/BOCT certificates as required.
- Valid Third Officer/OOW Certificate of Competency and applicable radio operator qualifications.
- Relevant STCW certificates, offshore medical certificate, and seafarer documents as applicable.
