Job Description
PTC is currently recruiting qualified and experienced maritime, technical, hotel, and catering personnel to join Cruise Liner vessels operating worldwide.
The company is seeking candidates across engineering, deck, electrical, refrigeration, maintenance, housekeeping, galley, security, and technical departments. Previous cruise ship or vessel experience is preferred, depending on the position.
Candidates with a valid US Visa are preferred. A valid Schengen Visa is specifically required for the Cook position.

Job Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:
- Perform duties according to the assigned position and company procedures.
- Support safe and efficient cruise vessel operations.
- Carry out maintenance, repair, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, or deck activities as applicable.
- Assist with engine-room, hotel, LSA, HVAC, and technical equipment maintenance.
- Support galley, pastry, kitchen, laundry, and housekeeping operations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and guest service.
- Perform welding, fabrication, carpentry, painting, or technical work where applicable.
- Support security and safety procedures onboard.
- Participate in emergency drills and required onboard training.
- Maintain operational readiness and comply with company HSE and maritime regulations.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Previous experience in the relevant position.
- Cruise ship or similar vessel experience preferred.
- Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position.
- Valid Certificate of Competency / Certificate of Proficiency where applicable.
- Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities.
- Physically and medically fit for onboard employment.
- Valid US Visa is preferred.
Visa Requirements
- Cook: Valid Schengen Visa is mandatory.
- For other positions, a valid US Visa is an advantage and may support deployment depending on itinerary and company requirements.
Position-Specific Requirements
- 3rd Assistant Electrician / Assistant Electrician / ETR: Relevant electrical certification and marine electrical experience.
- 3rd Assistant Refrigerator Engineer / Fitter Refrigeration & HVAC: Relevant refrigeration/HVAC qualification and experience.
- Fitter Engine / Hotel / LSA Mechanic: Relevant mechanical trade qualification and vessel maintenance experience.
- Fitter Turner / Welder: Relevant fabrication, machining, and welding qualifications.
- Deck Fitter / Carpenter / Artistic Painter: Relevant trade skills and vessel maintenance experience.
- Security Guard: Relevant security experience and applicable certification.
- Pastry Chef / Cook / Kitchen Assistant: Relevant culinary experience and food hygiene knowledge.
- Laundry Technician: Relevant laundry equipment and maintenance experience.
