Job Description:
Michaelmar Phils., Inc. is urgently hiring an experienced Chief Cook (CCK) to join an LPG Tanker Vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew, maintaining high standards of food hygiene, and managing the daily galley operations onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare nutritious and varied meals for the vessel's crew.
Plan menus and manage daily food preparation and catering requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the galley and food storage areas.
Manage food provisions, storage, and inventory.
Ensure compliance with onboard food safety and sanitation standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Chief Cook (CCK)
LPG Tanker experience preferred
Valid Cook/Chief Cook certification as applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Good knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling practices
Availability for urgent deployment
